Margot Robbie made a huge statement in her first red carpet starring role while Code Red gave Uma's ugh boots the thumbs down.

MARGOT Robbie nailed her first big moment on a Hollywood red carpet and British soap star Emma Rigby also earned high marks.
The news wasn't so good for Uma Thurman, whose Tibetan-inspired footwear were real shockers, and former Disney starlet Ashley Tisdale.

Being one of her first Hollywood films, it was crucial Margot Robbie made an impression on the red carpet at the premiere of The Wolf of Wall Street on Tuesday. Her white Armani Prive dress was a total crowd-pleaser and a promising start to the film's promo tour.

She's virtually unknown in Oz but the British soap star knows how to get noticed at a film event, turning up to the Berlin premiere of film The Physician on in a dramatic Alexander McQueen gown on Monday.

The actor wore a voluminous ensemble at a New York screening of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty on Wednesday. While there's no problem with stepping out in a pussy bow now and then, pairing it with a pirate sleeved blouse is just asking for a ribbing.

If there was any question as to whether a taupe maxi dress could be a success on the red carpet, Tisdale answered it for us. It looks far from good, and I just hope she had initially planned to skirt the media wall and sneak straight into the back row of the cinema at Wednesday's Cloud Nine premiere in California.

I get that Thurman was at a Tibetan benefit auction but there was no need to choose footwear more appropriate for climbing Everest than attending a New York charity event.
Paired with a dated red floral dress the entire outfit was perplexing and very unlike the usually well-styled actor.

The Little Miss Sunshine star didn't look her best at Monday's August: Osage Countypremiere in Los Angeles. The dress looked like a duct tape DIY job, the shoes clashed and a bra would have been a good idea.

Purple organza has a bad reputation thanks to its prolific use in end-of-school dance recitals and tacky gift bags. But Lewis's Monique Lhuillier frock redeemed it at the premiere of August: Osage County in Los Angeles on Monday.

The star took the menswear trend a few steps too far at the premiere of August: Osage County in Los Angeles on Monday. The three-piece Ralph Lauren suit, the slicked hair and the fob chain was way too literal.

Rowland's Balmain dress was certainly sexy but the leather studded bustier and thigh-high split looked like a Pussycat Doll stage costume and I think Rowland's style is usually much more elegant than this. The Anthony Vaccarello heels were a good choice though.

The Pretty Woman star ditched the palazzo pants for once in favour of a leg-baring tuxedo-style outfit and killer heels at the premiere of August: Osage County in Los Angeles on
